💳 Refund & Payment Policy

⚠️ This Refund and Payment Policy governs all monetary transactions on MedLearno. By making any payment on this Platform, you confirm that you have read and agree to this Policy in its entirety. MedLearno.in maintains a strictly limited refund window; please review all terms before completing any purchase.

PART 1: GENERAL PAYMENT PRINCIPLES

1.1 Nature of the Financial Model

MedLearno operates on a primarily free, credit-based contribution model for verified faculty members. Monetary transactions are currently limited to:

• Optional paid credit packs: Pre-packaged credits for accelerated access
• Faculty registration fees: A nominal annual quality gate fee (currently free for active contributors)
• Future premium subscriptions: Tiered plans when launched

1.2 Currently Active Credit Pack Pricing

Credit packs are valid for the lifetime of your account — they do not expire. Credits from paid packs and earned credits are pooled together. The Company reserves the right to revise pricing with 7 days' prior notice.

1.3 Pricing Transparency

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR), inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise. MedLearno.in reserves the right to revise pricing at any time. Revisions will not apply retroactively.

PART 2: PAYMENT PROCESSING

2.1 Supported Payment Methods

UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), Net Banking, Debit/Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), and Digital Wallets (subject to gateway support).

2.2 Payment Security

MedLearno.in does not store payment card details on its servers. All processing is handled by our PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateway. MedLearno.in will never ask for your payment credentials via email, phone, or chat.

2.3 Transaction Confirmation

Upon successful payment: automated email confirmation within minutes, updated credit balance within 15–30 minutes, and a payment reference number for your records.

PART 3: FAILED AND DISPUTED TRANSACTIONS

3.1 Payment Debited but Access Not Granted

1. Do not attempt the payment again immediately
2. Wait 30 minutes for automatic reconciliation
3. If still not granted, email support@medlearno.in with: registered email, transaction reference number, date/time, and screenshot
4. MedLearno.in will resolve verified failed transactions within 5 working days

3.2 Double Charges

Report within 48 hours with both transaction reference numbers and bank statements. Verified duplicates will be refunded within 7–10 working days.

3.3 Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first, MedLearno.in reserves the right to suspend your account and contest the chargeback with evidence. Please contact us first for faster resolution.

PART 4: REFUND ELIGIBILITY AND POLICY

4.1 Refund Request Window

All refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the original transaction date. Requests after this window will not be considered.

4.2 Eligible Refund Scenarios

• Technical Failure: Payment processed but credits/access never activated due to verified Platform error, unresolved within 5 working days
• Duplicate Payment: Charged twice for the same transaction due to verified error
• Unauthorized Transaction: Payment made without your knowledge (subject to verification)

4.3 Non-Refundable Scenarios — No Exceptions

4.4 How to Request a Refund

Email support@medlearno.in with subject line: Refund Request — [Your Email] — [Transaction Date]

Include: full name, registered email, transaction reference, date, amount paid, reason, and supporting evidence.

4.5 Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method only. All refund decisions are final and communicated via email only.

PART 5: SUBSCRIPTION MANAGEMENT

Paid subscriptions (when introduced) are activated within 15–30 minutes. Subscriptions do not auto-renew by default. You will receive a reminder email 7 days before expiry. Cancellation does not result in a refund for the unused portion. Upgrades receive pro-rata credit toward the higher plan.

PART 6: INSTITUTIONAL AND BULK PAYMENTS

Coaching institutes or organizations seeking bulk access must contact support@medlearno.in before making any payment. Institutional pricing and refund terms are negotiated separately. Bulk credit purchases are generally non-refundable once distributed.

PART 7: CYBERSECURITY AND FORCE MAJEURE

7.1 Cyberattack Disclaimer

While MedLearno.in implements industry-standard security measures, no digital platform is immune to cyberattacks. By making any payment, you expressly acknowledge that the Platform may become a target of cyberattacks resulting in unavailability, data loss, or credit balance loss.

7.2 Zero Financial Responsibility

MedLearno.in, its owner(s), directors, administrators, developers, and all associated personnel are expressly NOT responsible for any monetary loss from Platform downtime caused by cyberattacks, including: purchased credit packs, subscription fees, credit balance loss, contributed content loss, or any indirect/consequential damages.

7.3 Financial Non-Liability

If a cyberattack causes the Platform to go offline, payment records to be lost, or user data to be unrecoverable, MedLearno.in shall bear zero financial liability for any amount previously paid. The user's sole remedies are: waiting for Platform restoration and submitting a documented support request.

7.4 Force Majeure

MedLearno.in bears no liability for unavailability or data loss caused by: natural disasters, pandemics, government shutdowns, power failures, ISP outages, acts of war, hosting provider failures, or payment gateway system failures.

7.5 Security Incident Notification

MedLearno.in commits to: user notification within 72 hours of a confirmed breach, status updates within 24 hours of a major outage, and restoration from the most recent backup as quickly as feasible.

PART 8: GOVERNING LAW

This Policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the IT Act, 2000, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
